Description

Crestor 20 mg 28 Tablets contains Rosuvastatin Calcium, a cholesterol-lowering medication from the statin class. It is used to reduce elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels, increase HDL (good cholesterol), and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events. It also helps slow the progression of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Active Ingredients: Rosuvastatin Calcium 20 mg Indications: Primary hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) Mixed dyslipidemia Familial hypercholesterolemia (inherited high cholesterol) Hypertriglyceridemia (high triglycerides) Prevention of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients Slowing the progression of atherosclerosis Dosage: Usually 5–40 mg once daily according to the physician's recommendation Crestor 20 mg is commonly prescribed as one tablet once daily Can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food Swallow the tablet whole with water Lipid levels should be monitored periodically to assess response to treatment.
