DECAL B12 SYRUP is used for deficiency of vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Hypocalcaemia and Osteoporosis. DECAL B12 SYRUP may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide How to use The usual dose per day Children below one year: one teaspoonful. Children above one year: 1 - 2 teaspoonfuls. Adults: 2 - 4 teaspoonfuls. Warnings and precautions Do not take DECAL B12 SYRUP in the following cases: Allergic reactions High calcium levels Higher than normal levels of calcium in urine Kidney disease Kidney stone Leber’s disease Side Effects Immune system disorders Not known: hypersensitivity reactions (see Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders; Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders) Metabolism and nutrition disorders Uncommon: hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders Storage Information Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 30ºC. Do not use DECAL B12 SYRUP after the exp. date mentioned on the pack. The exp. date refers to the last day of the month. Drug Interactions If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines without a prescription, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The content of vitamin D in DECAL B12 SYRUP should be considered when prescribing other medicinal products containing vitamin D.
