Description

Simethicone is used to relieve painful symptoms such as: a feeling of pressure, fullness in the epigastric region, and intestinal spasm - due to excessive accumulation of gases that may form in the digestive tract in How to use drops: Infants (under 2 years): Half a dropper (½ ml or approximately 10 drops) equivalent to 20 mg simethicone four times daily after meals and at bedtime. Children (2-12 years): One dropper (1 ml or approximately 20 drops) equivalent to 40 mg simethicone four times daily after meals and at bedtime. For diagnostic purposes (endoscopic, radiological or ultrasound examinations), the drops are given as follows: 50 drops 3-4 times a day in the two preceding days, and 50 drops on fasting on the morning of the examination and immediately before the investigation. For infants and children, it is not recommended to exceed 240 mg/day except under the supervision and guidance of a physician. Warnings and precautions No special precautions are necessary. Side Effects Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience tightness in your throat, swelling of your eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on the face or body. Storage Information Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store below 30°C.
