Devarin contains vardenafil, which belongs to a class of medications known as phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult males, a condition that causes difficulty in getting or maintaining an erection. At least one in ten men has difficulty getting or keeping an erection at some point. The cause may be physical, psychological, or a combination of both. Whatever the cause, changes in the muscles and blood vessels mean that the penis does not hold enough blood to become hard or stay hard. Devarin only works when the body is sexually aroused. It reduces the effect of natural chemicals in the body that help the erection to go away quickly. Devarin helps the erection to last long enough to complete sexual activity satisfactorily.
