Guaphan Syrup 100 ml is an expectorant cough syrup containing guaifenesin, which helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways. It facilitates the clearance of phlegm during coughing and helps relieve chest congestion associated with respiratory tract infections and productive cough. Active Ingredients: Guaifenesin (Expectorant). Indications: Productive cough with mucus, Chest congestion, Bronchitis, Common cold and respiratory infections, Conditions associated with thick mucus in the respiratory tract. Dosage: Adults and children above 12 years: 10 ml every 4–6 hours, Children 6–12 years: 5 ml every 4–6 hours, Do not exceed the recommended dose, Use as directed by a physician. Contraindications & Warnings: Hypersensitivity to guaifenesin or any component of the syrup, Use with caution in patients with chronic cough such as asthma or smoker’s cough, Consult a doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days, Not recommended for children under 2 years unless prescribed. Side Effects: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach discomfort, Dizziness, Rare allergic reactions such as rash. Storage: Store below 25°C, Keep in a dry place, Keep out of reach of children.
