Gyno-Micozal vaginal suppositories are used by adults. Once inserted into the vagina, these suppositories release a drug called miconazole nitrate. This belongs to a group of medicines known as "antifungals". Gyno-Mycozal is used to treat vaginal infections. Signs of infection include itching, redness and white discharge. Gyno-Mycozal works by killing the fungi causing the infection and some types of bacteria that may also be present. Your partner may also need treatment. Please consult your doctor for advice on this. How to use Instructions for use Wash your hands with soap and warm water before inserting the vaginal suppository. Remove the vaginal suppository from the outer wrapper. Lie on your back with your thighs raised and your knees bent and apart. Gently insert the vaginal suppository deep into the vagina with your index finger. Always wash your hands with soap and warm water after inserting the vaginal suppository. Once the suppository is inserted into the vagina, the suppository will dissolve, which may cause its components to come out, but this will not cause staining of the skin or clothing.
