Hemagel Procto provides a unique solution for managing acute and chronic anal wounds and skin lesions. Hemagel Procto suppositories are specifically manufactured to address hemorrhoids and other anal issues such as painful ulcers (anal fissures) and cracks in the skin and mucous membranes in the anal area (anal fissures). Composition: Hemagel Procto is a white torpedo-shaped suppository that contains a cross-linked polymer component ("2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate") with amino groups that provide dimensional resistance and polymeric bonding. How to use: - The suppositories are inserted through the rectum, with the rounded end inserted first, ideally after emptying the bowels and cleaning the anal area. - Separate one suppository from the strip at the perforated edge, cut the packaging, and gently push the suppository to remove it from the package. - Insert the suppository deeply into the rectum, rounded end first; the optimal position for insertion is to bend slightly forward. - Unless otherwise advised, Hemagel Procto suppositories should be taken once a day, preferably before bedtime. Warnings and precautions No side effects have been reported with the use of Hemagel Procto suppositories. Individuals with sensitivities may experience slight irritation in the anal area, such as itching or burning. The use of the suppositories may cause moderate laxative effects. Due to their large molecular composition, Hemagel Procto suppositories do not penetrate the mucous membrane, making them suitable for all age groups, including pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, it is recommended to consult the treating physician first. In the case of anal issues, personal hygiene in the anal area is particularly important, as is regular bowel movement.
