Description

Hemamax contains iron, which is essential for the health of the pregnant woman and the fetus. Hemamax helps treat iron deficiency anemia and protects against miscarriage. It can be used while planning to get pregnant, during pregnancy, and even after childbirth. It is used to prevent all cases of iron deficiency anemia. Treatment of hidden and apparent iron deficiency before and during pregnancy. How to use For cases of apparent iron deficiency during pregnancy: 2-3 tablets daily until the hemoglobin level reaches normal, then treatment continues at a rate of one tablet daily until the end of pregnancy in order to refill the body’s iron stores. For cases of hidden iron deficiency: To treat hidden iron deficiency and prevent iron deficiency, it is recommended to take one tablet daily. Warnings and precautions The drug should not be used without consulting a specialist doctor in the following cases: Allergy to any of the components of the medicine. Disorders in the body's use of iron (lead-induced anemia, thalassemia). Megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency. Side Effects Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may complain of the following: Constipation. Diarrhea. Stomach upset. Nausea. Drug Interactions It is preferable to inform the doctor or pharmacist about all medications, herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements before starting treatment. It is recommended not to take the following medications at the same time: Magnesium trisilicate. Antacids. Mineral supplements containing calcium and magnesium, as they lead to poor iron absorption.
