Methylcobal tablets contain the active ingredient mecobalamin which belongs to a group of medicines called nutritional supplements. It is used to treat neuropathy which is a term that refers to damage to the peripheral nerves. How to use The recommended dose for adults is 3 tablets (1,500 mcg of mecobalamin) daily, divided into three doses taken orally. Your doctor or pharmacist may adjust your dose depending on your age or symptoms. Children and adolescents Methylcobal is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Warnings and precautions Tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking Methicobal tablets if your condition requires treatment with mercury or mercury compounds. Side Effects Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any of the following side effects or any other side effects not listed: In some cases (occurring in less than 5 out of every 100 users): loss of appetite, dizziness, vomiting and diarrhea. Specifications Methylcobal 500 mg tablets are white, round, sugar-coated tablets marked with 'Є322' on one side and available in packs containing 30 tablets (3 strips of 10 tablets each).
