Mucosolvan® is a cough syrup that provides 12-hour relief from productive cough in adults and children 2 years of age and older. Mucosolvan® contains ambroxol hydrochloride with a triple action that loosens phlegm, clears the airways and prevents new phlegm formation. How to use Dosage: Children 0-2 years: 1.25 ml twice daily (as advised by a doctor) Children 2-5 years: 1.25 ml three times daily. Children 6-12 years: 2.5 ml three times daily. Adults and children over 12 years: 5 ml three times daily for 2-3 days, then 5 ml twice daily. Warnings and precautions You can take Mycosolvan before or after meals. You should not take the medicine during pregnancy, especially in the first three months. It is not recommended to take the medicine during breastfeeding. Side Effects Nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea Dry mouth. Heartburn. Altered sense of taste. Storage Information Store below 25°C. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
