Neurorubine-Forte contains three vitamins: Vitamin B1 , Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 . Each of these vitamins is essential for normal metabolic processes within the nerve cell. Signs of vitamin deficiency may appear in the form of inflammation of the nerves and impaired or weak mental performance. Neurorubine-Forte is used on prescription to treat vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 deficiency due to malnutrition or alcoholism , as well as to treat acute and chronic neuritis, nerve pain such as trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica or pain associated with shingles (herpes zoster). How to use Always take Neurorubine Forte exactly as your doctor has told you. The usual dose is 1 to 2 coated tablets daily. Warnings and precautions Keep out of reach of children. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding or if you have any medical condition such as liver or kidney disease. Vitamin B6 speeds up the metabolism of levodopa and therefore high doses of vitamin B6 can counteract the effect of levodopa. Side Effects Due to the presence of vitamin B1 : sweating, skin reactions (itching, hives (urticaria)), weakness, restlessness (feeling of discomfort), anxiety, tingling of the skin, drowsiness, headache, nausea, feeling of a "lump in the throat", gastrointestinal bleeding, rapid pulse and a drop in blood circulation in very rare cases - Vitamin B6 and high doses of vitamin B12 may trigger or worsen acne. Uncommon • Using high doses may lead to acne. • Pyridoxine may trigger or worsen acne vulgaris or acne-like rashes. Rare • Allergic reactions. • Anxiety • Reversible peripheral neuropathy has been observed with high doses received over a long period. • Pyridoxine may reduce the therapeutic effect of levodopa in patients with Parkinson's disease. , unless a decarboxylase inhibitor is given at the same time. • Heart palpitations. • Low blood circulation Storage Information Keep out of reach and sight of children.
