Neurovit is an injectable preparation that contains vitamins B1, B6 and B12. Neurovit ampoules are used to treat vitamin B1, B6 and B12 deficiency which is difficult to compensate for through diet. How to use Always take the doses prescribed by your doctor. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Neurovit ampoules are injected intramuscularly according to the doctor’s instructions. The doctor is responsible for determining the doses, the times to take them, and the duration of treatment. The usual dose is: one ampoule every other day. If you stop taking Neurovit ampoules Abrupt discontinuation of pyridoxine therapy at doses greater than 200 mg daily may result in withdrawal symptoms. Warnings and precautions Prolonged use of high doses of vitamin B6, more than 1 g per day, may lead to sensory disturbances. Vitamin B12 may mask the symptoms of pernicious anemia, so the diagnosis must be confirmed before using this medication. Side Effects Like all medicines, side effects may occur, but not all of them will occur. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Do not use Neurovit ampoules after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Drug Interactions You should consult your doctor if you are currently taking any medications, even those that are not prescribed by your doctor. Taking this medicine may reduce the effectiveness of medications containing L-dopa used to treat Parkinson's disease. If you are taking these medications, you should inform your doctor.
