No-Uric tablets contain allopurinol, which works by slowing down the speed of certain chemical reactions in the body. No-Uric is used for: - To prevent gout, where the body produces a large amount of uric acid. Uric acid then accumulates in the joints and tendons in the form of crystals. The accumulation of these crystals results in inflammation. The inflammation makes the skin around certain joints swollen, painful and tender to the touch only. You may also feel severe pain when moving the joints. How to use Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Swallow the tablet with a drink of water.
