Pantover is a "selective proton pump inhibitor," a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used to treat acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestines. Pantover is used to treat adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older in the following cases: - Reflux esophagitis. Inflammation of the esophagus (the tube that connects the throat to the stomach) accompanied by vomiting up stomach acid. Pantover is used to treat adults in cases of: - Infection with a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori in patients with duodenal ulcers and stomach ulcers in combination with two antibiotics (eradication therapy). The aim is to eliminate the bacteria and thus reduce the chance of the ulcer coming back. - Stomach and duodenal ulcers. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid. How to use Always take Pantover exactly as your doctor has told you The usual dose is one tablet daily. Take the capsule with a full glass of water. Take the capsule one hour before breakfast. Do not chew the capsule, but swallow it whole. If you cannot swallow the capsule whole, you may open it and mix the contents with a teaspoon of water or juice. Consume the mixture immediately.
