Rybelsus 3 mg tablets are tablets used to treat adults with type 2 diabetes and to control blood glucose levels. It is an antidiabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes. Repless is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It is a tablet taken by mouth, which works similarly to a natural hormone called GLP-1, which is released from the body after eating. How to use Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. • Take one REPLUS® tablet on an empty stomach as soon as you wake up. • Swallow the REPLUS ™ tablet whole with a sip of water (up to 120 ml). Do not split, crush or chew the tablet, as it is not known whether this affects the absorption of semaglutide. • After taking a REPLUS ™ tablet , wait at least 30 minutes before taking your first meal or daily beverage or taking other medications by mouth. Waiting less than 30 minutes reduces the absorption of semaglutide. Warnings and precautions Not recommended for use with type 1 diabetes. Rybelsus should not be used during pregnancy. If the patient desires to become pregnant, or pregnancy occurs, Rybelsus should be discontinued. Rybelsus should be discontinued at least 2 months before the planned pregnancy because of its long half-life. Rybelsus should not be used during breastfeeding. Please inform your doctor if you have a history of pancreatitis. Side Effects Common side effects of Repless 14 mg are: Nausea. diarrhea. Constipation. Vomiting. Stomach ache. Dizziness. Fatigue. Headache. Less common, but more serious side effects of Reples 14 mg are: Pancreatitis. Medullary thyroid cancer. Low blood sugar. Gallstones. Allergic reactions. Storage Information Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is printed on the blister and carton after the word “Expiry”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Store in original package to protect from light and moisture. Store below 30°C. Drug Interactions Other diabetes medications: Insulin. Sulfonylurea. SGLT2 inhibitors. DPP-4 inhibitors. Blood pressure medications: Beta blockers. Diuretics. ACE inhibitors. Calcium channel blockers. Gastrointestinal drugs: Heartburn medications. Constipation medications. Diarrhea medications. Other medications such as: Thyroid medications. Osteoporosis medications. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ingredients • The active ingredient is semaglutide. Each tablet contains 3, 7 or 14 mg semaglutide.
