This medicine contains Ibuprofen which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which act to relieve pain, swelling (inflammation) and reduce fever. It can be used for the fast, effective relief of mild to moderate pain such as teething pain, toothache, other dental pain, sore throat, headaches, minor aches and sprains and rheumatic and muscular pain. It can also be used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu and to reduce fever, including fever after vaccination at 3 months of age. How to use Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. The tablets are intended for adults and adolescents. Do not use in children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 20 kg. Suspension solution for children from 3 months of age and weighing more than 5 kg. Take the medicine with or after food. Adults and adolescents: The usual dose is one or two tablets 3-4 times a day (every 6 hours). Do not exceed 1200 mg/day with 200 mg tablets, and 2400 mg/day with 400 mg or 600 mg tablets. Children aged 6-12 years (>20 kg): The usual dose is one 200 mg tablet 1-3 times a day. Do not exceed 3 tablets (600 mg) per day. The dosage for children depends on the child's weight. It ranges from 5-15 ml, 3 times a day. Warnings and precautions Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including: If you suffer from chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal problems such as ulcerative colitis, Cohn's disease, or others. If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). If you have problems with your blood cells. If you suffer from blood clotting problems. If you suffer from high blood pressure or heart problems. If you have liver or kidney problems. If you have asthma or other conditions that make breathing difficult. Ibuprofen and other similar medications may cause ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding, which can be serious. Ibuprofen and other similar medications are associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack and stroke, especially when used at high doses for a long time. Side Effects Possible side effects Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
