Description

Voltaren Emulgel 1% 50 gm contains Diclofenac Diethylamine, a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in muscles and joints. It penetrates the skin to act directly at the site of pain, providing targeted relief. Active Ingredients: Diclofenac Diethylamine 1% w/w (Topical NSAID) Indications: Muscle pain Joint pain Back pain Sprains and strains Sports injuries Tendonitis (inflammation of tendons) Osteoarthritis (localized pain) Dosage: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 3–4 times daily Gently massage until fully absorbed Wash hands after application Do not apply to broken or irritated skin Use as directed by a physician Contraindications & Warnings: Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs Do not use on open wounds or infected skin Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes Do not use under occlusive dressings unless prescribed Avoid prolonged use without medical advice Side Effects: Local skin irritation or redness Itching or rash Dry skin Photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight) Rare systemic side effects Storage: Store below 25°C Keep tightly closed Keep out of reach of children Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester Use with caution during breastfeeding and avoid application on breast area
