Description

Zahra tablets work to prevent pregnancy by increasing the thickness of uterine fluids, thus preventing fertilization of the egg. How to use Contraceptives: Days 1-21: One active tablet/day. If you miss a dose of Zahra Pills, contact your doctor immediately for further instructions. Do not take more than the prescribed dose, and seek emergency medical attention in case of an overdose of Zahra pills. Without current use of hormonal contraception: Consider taking a pregnancy test before you start. Days 1-21: Take one active tablet once daily, starting on the first day of menstruation. Each 21-day pack: Start on the same day of the week as the first cycle pack (for example, the day after you take your last pill). If you do not start on the first day of your period, use a non-hormonal method of contraception (eg, condom and/or spermicide) as a backup until you have taken one active tablet daily for 7 consecutive days. Switching from another method of contraception: Combined oral contraceptives (COC): Start when you start a new set of oral contraceptives. Transdermal, vaginal, or injection: Start when your next dose is scheduled. Intrauterine device (IUS) or implant: Start after removal. Progestin-only pills: Start after taking the last pill. Starting after birth (20 weeks of pregnancy): Do not start after 4 weeks of birth. Menstrual cycles resumed: Follow the instructions for 'Initiation of Estradiol/Cyproterone in Females with No Current Use of Hormonal Contraception.' Menstrual cycles have not resumed: Consider the possibility of ovulation and pregnancy. If you are not pregnant, use additional non-hormonal contraception for the first 7 days of use. Limits of use: May be less effective in females with a body mass index (BMI) ≥30 kg/m2; decreased efficacy may be associated with increased BMI. Warnings and precautions Avoid taking Zahra birth control pills if you are allergic to them, and seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms. It is not recommended to use Zahra in the following cases: If you have episodes of abnormal vaginal bleeding that has not been diagnosed. If you have any heart or blood vessel disorders such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, recent heart attack, stroke, or other blood clotting disorders. If you have cancer caused by abnormal levels of estrogen in your body, such as breast or uterine cancer. If you have liver problems or a liver tumor, as it may worsen your condition. If you have untreated or uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension). If you have kidney problems due to an increased risk of hyperkalemia. If you suffer from migraines, especially migraines with aura, because it may worsen your condition and may also increase your risk of stroke. Zahra pills should be used with caution because they may increase the risk of breast cancer. Zahra may cause jaundice due to its effects on liver function, so report any symptoms such as yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes, fever, and chills to your doctor. Any visual abnormalities should be reported to your doctor immediately. Zahra pills are only for use after menstruation and over the age of 14, and are not for use after menopause. Avoid smoking while being treated with Zahra because it may increase the risk of blood clots, heart attack, or stroke. Zahra should be used with caution as it may cause depression. Using fenugreek may sometimes cause melasma. Zahra pills are not safe to use during pregnancy, so they should be withdrawn immediately if pregnancy occurs. It is not recommended to use fenugreek while breastfeeding because small amounts of fenugreek may pass into breast milk, so it may also reduce milk production. All medications interact differently from person to person, so you should check all possible interactions with your doctor before starting Zahra pills such as: carbamazepine, prednisolone, tetracycline, tranexamic acid, warfarin, antidiabetic medications, amprenavir. Side Effects Headache, dizziness, loss of consciousness, anxiety, vaginal bleeding, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and discomfort, breast pain and tenderness, weight gain, depression, irregular menstrual periods, flu-like symptoms, swelling of the face, lips, eyelids, tongue, hands, and feet, trouble breathing.
