Description

Fastflam tablets for the relief of pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and neck pain. How to use Take this medication as directed by your doctor. This medicine is not used in children under 14 years of age. Take this medication with or immediately after a meal. Dissolve granules in water and drink immediately. The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times daily. For children 14 years and older, the usual dose is 75 to 100 mg daily in 2 or 3 doses. Warnings and precautions Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including: If you have any stomach or intestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. If you have kidney or liver problems. If you have a condition called porphyria. If you have any blood disorder or bleed easily. If you have high blood pressure. If you have angina, blood clots, or high blood cholesterol levels. If you have heart problems. If you have diabetes. If you smoke. If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This medicine may increase your risk of heart and blood vessel problems. Side Effects Possible side effects : Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known. Serious side effects: Severe chest pain and shortness of breath Sudden weakness and numbness, loss of vision, difficulty speaking Abdominal pain with dark stools Allergic reactions If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor or hospital immediately. Other medicines and diclofenac potassium Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, especially: Other NSAIDs Corticosteroids Blood-thinning medications such as warfarin Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) Diabetes medications Diuretics (water pills) Lithium used for depression Antibiotics Heart and blood pressure medications Phenytoin Methotrexate Storage Information Store at room temperature below 77°F (25°C). Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. Drug Interactions Anticoagulants (blood thinners).
