Product

Fixit™ contains an active ingredient called nizatidine which belongs to a class of medicines called histamine 2-antagonists or histamine 2-blockers. Fixit™ is used to treat the following conditions: Reflux heartburn This can be caused by reflux or "washing back" of food and acids from the stomach into the food pipe. Reflux can cause a burning sensation in the chest that rises up into the throat, also known as heartburn. Ulcer Depending on where the ulcer is located, it is called either a gastric ulcer or a duodenal ulcer, which is a tube leading to the stomach. Fixit™ is also used to stop duodenal ulcers from coming back. Fixit™ works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. This helps reduce pain and allows the ulcer and reflux disease to heal in most people. Your doctor may have prescribed this medicine for another reason. This medicine is available only if your doctor has prescribed it. There is no scientific evidence that this drug can be addictive. How to use 1. Duodenal ulcer: The recommended daily dose is 300 mg either in divided doses twice daily or 300 mg once daily in the evening for 4-8 weeks. In the maintenance prophylaxis of duodenal ulcer the recommended dose is 150 mg once daily in the evening. The effect of continued treatment for more than one year is unknown. 2. Stomach ulcer: The recommended daily dose is 300 mg either in divided doses twice daily or 300 mg once daily in the evening. Prior to treatment, care should be taken to exclude the possibility of malignant gastric ulceration. 3. Heartburn in patients with GERD has been improved after one day of treatment. How to use Swallow the capsule with a full glass of water or other liquid.
