Panadrex tablets are suitable for the relief of headache, tension headache, migraine, back pain, rheumatism and muscle pain, toothache and menstrual pain. It also relieves sore throat and fever, aches and pains from colds and flu and is recommended for the relief of pain from mild arthritis. The active ingredient is paracetamol, which is a pain reliever and also works to reduce temperature when you have a fever. How to use Adults ( including the elderly ) and children 1-6 years of age and older - Swallow 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed. - Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period. - Give the child one tablet every 4-6 hours as needed. - Do not give the child more than 4 tablets within a 24-hour period. Warnings and precautions § If you have liver or kidney disease, including alcohol-related liver disease. § If you have mild arthritis and need to take painkillers on a daily basis. Side Effects § Allergic reactions, which may be severe, such as skin rash and itching, sometimes with swelling of the mouth or face or shortness of breath. § Skin rash, peeling skin, or mouth ulcers. § Breathing problems. Drug Interactions § Metoclopramide or domperidone (to treat nausea or vomiting). § Cholestyramine (to lower blood cholesterol). § If you are taking blood-thinning medicines (anticoagulants such as warfarin) and need to take a painkiller on a daily basis, Ingredients Each Panadrex 500 mg tablet contains 500 mg of Paracetamol.
