Chlorzoxazone is a centrally acting voluntary muscle relaxant that acts on the spinal cord and subcortex, inhibiting the nerve connections in the reflex pathways responsible for causing and maintaining muscle contractions resulting from various causes, leading to reduced skeletal muscle spasms, pain relief and increased movement of the affected muscles. Paracetamol has an analgesic and antipyretic effect similar to that of aspirin in preventing the formation of prostaglandins in the central nervous system, complementing the analgesic effect secondary to the muscle relaxation produced by chlorzoxazone. Relaxon™ capsules quickly relieve pain and restore mobility even in cases ofsevere and painful skeletal muscle spasms. Relaxon provides rapid pain relief and is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures to relieve tension associated with musculoskeletal pain conditions.
